Summer Term 2019

Medium Term Plan - Crime and Punishment

15.7.19

Wow! What a busy Summer term it has been! We have been so busy all term rehearsing for our school play 'Ye-Ha!'. Our performances were on Tuesday and Thursday last week and the children have had a brilliant time showing off their brilliant acting skills to their parents!

Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy!

We have also had Amy Hillyard, a British 400m runner come and visit us and do some exercises with us! We raised sponsorship money and won prizes for our contributions!

Each class went outside and had some time with Amy. We did four exercises: spotty dogs, mountain climbers, press ups and star jumps. Some of us even tried burpees because we wanted even more of a challenge! It was great fun!

We have also had our School Games Sports Day this term, which was a great success! We took part in lots of different races and had a brilliant afternoon!

It has been a busy summer term so far with Class 3 participating in lots of sporting events, as well as preparing for our school production!

We went out for a day bell-boating as a class, which was really fun and we all got better at it throughout the day. We learnt about how locks works and it gave us lots of information to use in our geography topic of rivers.

Year 5 also participated in the Worcestershire School Games Orienteering at Prince Henry's High School on Tuesday 4th June.

We had a great time doing orienteering at a much bigger school and we did really well for our first go!
