  • Curriculum Experiences

Do you remember your school trips? Maybe it was a trip to the coast or a museum, a park or residential stay? Can you remember welcoming visitors to the school to talk about an important matter, theme or issue? All of these experiences are hugely beneficial to children and create curiosity, magic, interest and excitement.

Trips and visitors are a powerful source to increase pupil engagement and motivation. When children can directly experience a theme/ subject and see it in action, it provides real world context and relevancy. We also value the opportunity to dress up and experience life in the past! We are very proud of our experience offer at Church Lench CE First School where we also value the support of our close community.
