Summer 1

Welcome to Summer Term in Class 2!

We are looking forward to sharing all the amazing learning that we have in store in Class 2. This half term we will be continuing to learn about the Romans in History, researching some famous scientists in Science and exploring mosaics in Art.   

On our first week back to school, Class 2 got to take part in a golf experience day. The day was a great success and the whole class loved trying a new sport (we even spotted some talent amongst the class). 

Below are some quotes from the children about their session. 

Arlo - "I loved challenging myself to get it on the green."

Pixie - "I liked trying to see how far I could hit the golf ball."

Nathan - "I really enjoyed playing golf! I would like to do it again." 

Millie - "I enjoyed trying something new and aiming for the targets."

Continuing with our history topic on the Romans, Class 2 have studied, designed and now created their own Roman shields. They have really enjoyed this topic through learning about the lives of Roman soldiers and its importance within history.
