School Development Plan 2017-18

Key Issue 1

To raise the standards of writing across the school so that at least 75% achieve expected standard and 25% achieve greater depth at Key Stage 1.

Key Issue 2

Raise proportion of pupils attaining greater depth standard in reading and maths with at least 40% at Key Stage 1 and in writing 25%.

Raise proportion of pupils attaining greater depth standard in all 3 areas across the whole school

Key Issue 3

Develop the breadth and depth of the wider curriculum so that children progress through the specific skills in each subject asking what and how. Teachers track their progress and develop the skills of resilience, confidence, self-esteem and independence.

Key Issue 4

To develop a culture of positive mental health and well being for pupils and staff with a focus on PSHE and PE.

Key Issue 5

To develop ICT within the school and ensure children are able to access all of the coverage and skills required for their Year group and that progress is tracked across the school.
