Key Stage 1 Data 2015-16

This year children were assessed against the new National Curriculum. Our results showed that maths and writing were not as strong as the national picture. However we understand the reasons why and have identified in our School Development Plan what we need to do to improve in these areas. 

Reading

71% of children achieved expected standard compared with the national 74%

Writing

53% of children achieved expected standard compared with the national 65%

Mathematics

59% of children achieved expected compared to the national 73%

 

Early Years Data 2015-16

Our school data showed that 86% of our reception children achieved a good level of development.

Year 1 Phonics Data 2015-16

Our school data showed that 82% of the Year 1 children passed the phonic check in 2015-16

For children in Year 2, 76% of the cohort passed by the end of 2016.
