The Lenches Pre-school:

The Lenches Pre-school is a registered charity and is led by a Committee group made up of parents whose children attend pre-school. The setting has been running since the 1960’s and is located in the Church Lench Village Hall.

Pre-school provides a firm foundation and a safe and happy environment for children and their families to make the most of their abilities and talents. The Lenches Pre-school follows The Early Years Foundation Stage that sets the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five.

The Lenches Pre-school provides government Nursery Education Funding (NEF) for children who are two, three and four years old. This funding entitles a child to receive 15 hours of Universal Funding or up to 30 hours of Extended Funding per week, 38 weeks of the year.

The Lenches Pre-school offers Breakfast Club, hot lunches cooked freshly by Miquill Catering,  Forest School sessions and is involved in many exciting fundraising events.

All staff hold relevant Early Years qualifications, are DBS checked, hold Paediatric First Aid certificate and attend relevant courses to keep up with current changes and legislations.
