The Lenches Preschool is a registered charity and is led by a voluntary committee group made up of past and current parents. The setting has been running since the 1960s and is located in Church Lench Village Hall.
Preschool provides a firm foundation and a safe and happy environment for children and their families to make the most of their abilities and talents. The Lenches Preschool follows the early years foundation stage that sets the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to 5. This gives the children a smooth transition to school.
The Lenches Preschool provides government nursery education funding (NEF) for children who are two three and four years old. This funding entitles a child to receive 15 hours of universal funding or up to 30 hours of extended funding per week, 38 weeks of the year.
The Lenches Preschool offers breakfast club, and nature walk sessions.
All staff are DBS checked, hold a paediatric first aid certificate and attend relevant courses to keep up-to-date with current changes and legislation. The Lenches Preschool Is proud to hold the Millie’s Mark Certification and are registered with Ofsted as “Good”.
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm
All day or half day sessions are available. Taster sessions available. Prospectus available on request.
