The 12 Disciples.
We listened to the story of the 12 disciples today and took part in the story with actions and voices. We learnt how Jesus chose his apostles and made them the fishers of men. Jesus went down among the humble folk and sought out men who needed help and loved the truth. Among them, He found men whom He could trust to carry on His great work after He had gone back to Heaven.
There names were; James, John, Peter, Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, Thaddaeus, Simon and Judas and James the younger.

We looked at how Jesus shoed dignity and humility to all people, including the children. We listened to the story of 'The Little Children and Jesus'. In this story people brought children to see Jesus but the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said "let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Class Worship.
This week we continued to look at the 'Big Story of the Bible'. We thought about how all stories need a setting. The beginning of the bible sets the scene for the rest of God's story. The story of creation. We explored the picture by Emma Yarlett and thought about why she chose to depict creation in this way. We asked 'Who is God?' and thought about how God would want us to look after the world.
We then thought about our prayers, saying thankyou, sorry and please help.
Thursday 24th March 2022
We referred back to the creation story and how it sets the scene for God's story. We went outside and spent time appreciating God's creation. We listened carefully to what we could hear, we looked closely at the signs of spring and we had some quiet reflection time sitting all together on the grass. Our prayers were to thank God for the sunshine, trees, wind, flowers, clouds, sky and the animals.
